Amy Lane

Artistic Director and Founder of Clockwork Opera.  

She commenced her career in Opera and Theatre as a Stage Manager, working in the West End for 3 years on AN INSPECTOR CALLS, for 4 years with DIVA OPERA and then for 4 years at THE ROYAL OPERA, Covent Garden where she also Stage Managed the BAFTAs.  

Amy moved into Directing in 2008 and has Assistant Directed:

Future engagements as Assistant Director include CARMEN - The Royal Opera: 2010, THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO - Warsaw, Poland: 2010, ANDREA CHENIER at the Bregenz Festival, Austria: 2011 and further work with the celebrated Director: Keith Warner.

As a Professional Mezzo-Soprano, Amy has sung for The Royal Opera, English National Opera, Opera Holland Park, British Youth Opera and even as a Backing Singer for Barry Manilow!  

Amy is married to event organiser & DJ Guy Stevens and they live both in London and Kent.
